Terms and conditions
Last updated 2026-10-28. Written in plain English. If anything is unclear, ask before you pay.
1. Who we are
Page Tailors is a trading name of Book A Tradesman FZC, a free zone company licensed by the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone Authority, licence number 4415903.01, with its address at Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). In these terms "you" means the business that buys from us. Contact: hello@pagetailors.co.uk.
We sell to businesses, not to consumers. By paying you confirm you are acting for a business.
2. What we sell
- Free website check: a written report on your current website. It is free and you are under no obligation.
- Website: a website designed and built for your business, priced by size: small (5 pages) £99, medium (15 pages) £249, large (50 pages) £499, extra large (150 pages) £999.
- Hosting: the first year is included in the website price, then £25 a year.
- Growth plan: ongoing work to bring you more enquiries, £99 a month with a minimum of three months (section 6).
- Google Business Profile help: £49 for guided help, or £99 for us to set it up with you (section 7).
- Other help and larger projects: quoted in writing before any work starts.
Current prices are on our pricing page.
3. Paying for your website
We build your website first and show it to you. You pay the price for your website size by card through our payment provider, Stripe, when you are happy with it and it goes live. You never pay for a website you have not seen.
4. Hosting
The first year of hosting is included. After that hosting costs £25 a year, taken by card on the date your website went live, and we remind you at least 14 days before. If a hosting payment is not made, your website stays online for two months. After that hosting stops and the website goes offline, and we send you the website files if you ask for them.
5. Your domain
Your domain (web address) stays yours. We send you the settings to point it at our hosting, and you or your domain provider add them. If you do not have a domain, we can register one in your business's name.
6. The Growth plan
The Growth plan costs £99 a month, paid in advance by card through Stripe. It has a minimum term of three months, then continues month to month until you cancel. It includes: more services and more towns added over time, each with its own page; set up so Google and AI tools such as ChatGPT can read your business and recommend you; your Google Business Profile looked after: photos, posts, services and replies to reviews; review requests sent to your happy customers; a monthly report of the calls, WhatsApp messages and forms your website brought in; new photos and changes done for you.
If the plan ends, because you cancel it or a payment is not made, we give you 30 days' notice. After that the features the plan added switch off: pages added under the plan point to your home page, and the extra search set-up, Google profile management, review requests and reports stop. The website you paid for stays online at the size you bought, as long as hosting is paid. If you restart the plan, we switch them back on.
We give at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and you can cancel before it applies.
7. Google Business Profile help
Your Google Business Profile belongs to your business. We work on it as a manager you add, never with your password. We do not change your business name, address, phone number or main category without your written agreement. Verification is decided by Google, so we help you through it but cannot promise the outcome. When you stop working with us, we remove ourselves as a manager.
8. Other help and larger projects
Other help, and larger projects such as online shops or booking systems, are priced in a written quote that says what is included, the price and the payment stages. A quote is valid for 30 days. Unless the quote says otherwise, 50% is paid when you accept it and 50% before the work goes live. Work outside a quote is only done after you agree a price in writing, which includes WhatsApp or email.
9. Prices and taxes
Prices are in pounds sterling. You pay any bank or currency conversion charges that apply to you. If a sales tax such as VAT must be charged, it will be shown on your invoice before you pay.
10. What we need from you
We will tell you clearly what we need and by when: usually photos of your work, details of your services and the areas you cover, and approvals. Please send each item within 14 days of us asking. You confirm you own or have permission to use anything you send us. If we are still waiting after 60 days, we may launch with what we have or close the project.
11. Ownership
Once you have paid for it, your website is yours: the pages, words, photos and design made for your business. Your business name, logo, the words you give us and your photos are always yours. The hosting, our systems and the tools we use to build and run websites stay ours. Third-party items such as fonts stay under their owners' terms.
12. Our work
We do the work with reasonable care and skill and fix anything we built that does not work as agreed, at no cost. We do not promise any particular search ranking, mention in AI answers, number of enquiries or sales, because those depend on things outside our control.
13. Liability
We are not liable for loss of profit, business, revenue or data, or for indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud.
14. Cancelling and refunds
See our refunds and cancellations policy, which forms part of these terms.
15. Ending the agreement
Either of us may end the agreement if the other seriously breaks these terms and does not put it right within 14 days of being asked in writing.
16. Privacy
How we handle personal details is set out in our privacy policy.
17. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, because our clients are UK businesses.
